Hudson Valley Brewery was founded to establish a midsize production brewery and retail center in the heart of New York’s Hudson River Valley. Hudson Valley Brewery will blend local agricultural yields and traditional ingredients, to create distinctive products and kindle positive social and cultural change.  While distributing a unique brand throughout the Northeast, the Brewery will work with New York State agricultural leaders to promote the ingredients used in craft brewing. The Hudson Valley Brewery is excited to reenergize the fine historic traditions of brewing in New York State.
 
Some backstory on the Founder and President

John-Anthony Gargiulo grew up in the Hudson Valley and left to join the film industry to help others tell their stories and to see their visions projected on the big screen. After reflecting on the past, John-Anthony realized that he had accomplished a great deal but wanted a more enduring challenge for his future. What he really sought was to return to his family in the Hudson Valley and contribute something unique to his community. While living in California, John-Anthony studied and observed the craft beer culture and saw firsthand its potential for his native state. He saw how small breweries were producing distinctive quality products, while supporting and stimulating the economy of their local communities. He realized that creating the Hudson Valley Brewery was the right choice and challenge for his future— it was something that he had to do.
